A Fragile Kingdom Solo Exhibition at m2 Gallery

A Fragile Kingdom was my first solo exhibition in 2014. This body of work explored the natural world, with wildlife as characters in contrast to man made elements. You'll find a pair of hip, Australian Galahs that I see almost everyday that reside down the road from my home or the reimagining of a derelict shed I saw in my thoughts but in actual fact was part of the Australian ATP Heritage site.

Inspired by time and the notion of noticing and random sights of everyday objects, I wanted to create a series of characters and scenarios that may seem mundane at first but after a second (or third) glance, characters that speak to us in quiet and small ways.
