Christina Huynh is an illustrator and muralist based in Western Sydney, Australia, that paints under the name STYNA. Her art practice involves creating murals, illustrations and picture books from differing mediums of pencil, watercolour, ink and pen to acrylic and aerosol.

Christina has always been drawn to goldfish and the fragile parts of the natural world — the small things that ask us to slow down and pay attention. Her illustrations are a way of telling stories from everyday life, shaped by emotion, memory and the places and people that have left a mark on her.

Her practice has taken her into public art and community-focused illustration across a wide mix of projects. She works closely with local councils, schools and organisations to create artwork with purpose pieces that belong to a place, speak to its history and help people feel more connected to where they live.
