‘Living Layers’ is a botanical-themed mural inspired by the daily sights and surroundings of Friend Park situated in Wentworth Town centre. The mural extends the atmosphere of Friend Park, highlighting the large, evergreen foliage of the Hills Weeping Fig tree (Ficus microcarpa hillii), a significant tree nestled in the heart of the park. Among the flora are symbols of joy, freedom, and hope: Birds of Paradise and Indian Hawthorn, placed in a ceramic pot strewn with garlands of marigolds.

The mural theme, Living Layers, explores growth, transition, and quiet observation. It extends the experience of Friend Park vertically – turning a blank wall into a living, evolving backdrop that gradually reveals itself.
