SAFER CITIES: Her Way Project | Canley vale, Fairfield City Council

The Canley Vale ‘Her Way’ project is a NSW Government initiative aimed at improving perceptions of safety for women, girls, and gender diverse people in public spaces, particularly around transport hubs.

Partnered with Transport for NSW, Fairfield City Council focused on four key connecting public spaces across Canley Vale Town Centre: Adams Park, Diggers Lane, Westacott Lane and Canley Vale Road received a range of temporary and permanent improvements including public art, wayfinding and upgraded lighting.
